Looking for New Members
The Loveland Ski Patrol consists of both paid and volunteer patrollers. The Volunteer Ski Patrol is always looking for advanced to expert alpine and telemark skiers and riders who want to be a part of an organization dedicated to helping fellow skiers while enjoying America's favorite winter sport. The Patrol provides training in NSP Outdoor Emergency Care first aid and alpine toboggan training. Loveland's 160 volunteer patrollers are men and women aged 18 to 70+, married and single, all with an appreciation for each other and a love of skiing. The Patrol also sponsors a Young Adult Patroller program for youth age 15-17. For more information regarding the volunteer patrol, contact Lew Gaiter III by email (preferably) or phone 970-308-2390 (calls between 9 am and 8 pm, please) Feel free to stop by the Loveland Basin First Aid Room on weekends during the ski season to discuss becoming a member of the Loveland Volunteer Ski Patrol. Skiing tryouts are held several times during the year. If you are interested in a paid position as a ski patroller or need to contact the patrol room at Loveland Ski Area, please call us at (303) 571-5580 x134 or email us at skipatrol@skiloveland.com.
